April Morning Compared to Lone Survivor

Authors Note: This is the comparison of the main characters from Lone Survivor and April Morning.

The main characters of April Morning and Lone Survivor have a lot in common. They have a lot in common they start fighting in their war. They both start to share the same lifestyle when they start fighting in the war even though there wars are in different time periods. One war is in the revolutionary war and the other is the war on terrorism.

The similarities that they share are the hard ships of the war and the way they are treated. The way they are treated is a big part of the story because everyone is against them and does not treat them fairly. To me those seem to play the biggest part of these two books.

The wars that they are fighting in are in two different time periods. Even though they are in different wars and time periods they share a lot of the same feelings. They also loose their friend and family in the wars. In April Morning the main character loses his dad in the war. In Lone Survivor the main characters a Navy SEAL behind enemy lines and is stuck there by himself with no help. That is just about as brutal as being in the revolutionary war with a musket bullets flying at you.

Adam Cooper from April Morning and Marcus Luttrell from Lone Survivor have a lot in common. They both have lost people who were close to them and they both served in a war. They both were also treated the same way throughout the book. But the one thing that is different thing between them is the time period that they lived in and the war that they served in.

Their differences are Their ages and the wars that they fight in. The main character from lone survivor is in the ware on tsarism and the war is not as violent as the revolutionary war. The main character from April morning is in the revolutionary war and the way that war is fought is much different war because of the time period. And the main character from lone survivor is about thirty and the main charicter from April morning is only 16 years old. So the wars that they fought in have different rules of the time period.

Adams childish acts

Anthers note: this piece is about how the main character acts in the story.

Adam is the main character in April Morning by Howard Fast and he is about 16 years old and he acts like a little kid and he treats every on like it to. Adam shows this in the early part of the book by putting a spell on the water even though he is told by his father not to do that. So that shows that Adam is not really reedy for any responsibility.
The climax of the story is when he joins the war with his father. I think this because he just wants to prove himself to his dad and he dose this by joining the war. But the climax is in the war when his father gets shot and dies and I thought that that was because Adam acts like a kid and is always trying to prove him self.

Granny’s Point of View

This is about how Adam acts and how he treats his family.

The argument that is used in this is good because it shows what the main character is like and how he acts. It also shows what kind of people he has grown up with. Also it shows how the family treats one another and the respect in the family. This is good because it sets up the story line and how the story may turn out if you know what the main character is like.

This argument is really good to me because I thought that it really described the main character. It shows that he acts like he is a little kid and he likes to make things into arguments. He shows that on page 7 because he talks back to his Grandmother. Then while they were eating diner he was talking back to his father. So he does act like a little kid.

The point of view from granny is different from Adams because all she really wanted to do is teach him not to speak the way he talks now. So grandma and Adam got into a fight about how he speaks to people and that is how I think that he got put in to the war.

Adam acts like a little kid and treats every one with disrespect. All Adams grandmother wanted was to teach him was respect and he made that in to an argument. To me that is why I think he got in to the war.
